Forse stijging aantal gestolen Toyota hybrides
Toename van 474% ten opzichte van 2017!
Toyota-modellen met hybride-aandrijving zijn erg in trek bij autodieven. In het eerste halfjaar van 2018 zijn er al 109 gestolen. In dezelfde periode vorig jaar waren dat er ‘slechts’ 23. Een aanzienlijk verschil dus, blijkt uit cijfers van Stichting Aanpak Voertuigcriminaliteit.
Grootste stijger
Door de forse toename van het aantal gestolen Toyota’s is het Japanse merk de grootste stijger van alle gestolen automerken in Nederland. Met een totaal van 226 gestolen Toyota’s in de eerste zes maanden van dit jaar, steeg het aantal diefstalmeldingen met 148,7% ten opzichte van dezelfde periode in 2017.
Van alle gestolen Toyota’s is 72% voorzien van hybride-aandrijving. Met 45 gestolen exemplaren is de Toyota RAV4 Hybrid de populairste onder autodieven, gevolgd door de Toyota C-HR Hybrid (32) en Toyota Auris Hybrid (17).
En als je kijkt naar het totaal aantal Toyota’s RAV4 op de Nederlandse wegen ten opzichte van het aantal gestolen exemplaren, is dit ook meteen de auto met het hoogste diefstalrisico in Nederland (1 op 396). En binnen de top-10 van auto’s met het hoogste diefstalrisico werden van de Toyota RAV4 ook veruit het minste teruggevonden.

Wat verder nog opvalt in de statistieken van Stichting Aanpak Voertuigcriminaliteit: de meeste gestolen Toyota’s zijn relatief nieuw. Met 129 gestolen modellen met een leeftijd tussen 0 en 3 jaar is Toyota zelfs het meest gestolen automerk in deze categorie.
Het totaal aantal gestolen auto’s in Nederland daalde overigens met 14% ten opzichte van het eerste halfjaar in 2017. Volkswagen is nog steeds by far het meest gestolen automerk in Nederland (1.010 stuks), gevolgd door BMW (349), Audi (252) en Toyota op plek vier (226).

Ze komen s’nachts en trekken de auto volgens mij gewoon op een ambulance of in een vrachtauto. Laten geen sporen na. Als je in de buurt een buitenlandse auto ziet staan uit oost Europa noteer dan het nummer etc. etc. mogelijk schrikt dit ze af om te stelen hoewel ze hondsbrutaal te werk gaan en nergens voor terug Deinze !!! Auto weg……het kost je altijd geld!!!
