Is de Nissan e-NV200 Last Mile de toekomst?
Online shoppen neemt toe en dus zie je steeds meer koeriers met busjes op de weg, in dorpen en steden. Het is een kwestie van tijd dat binnensteden op slot gaan voor de bestelauto’s met verbrandingsmotor. Dat die de lading droppen in een distributiecentrum aan de rand van de stad waar kleinere, elektrisch aangedreven busjes klaarstaan om de bestellingen in de stad af te leveren. Wel nu, dan komt deze Nissan e-NV200 met Last Mile Box in beeld.
Last Mile Box, wat is het?
De Last Mile Box staat op het chassis van een e-NV200 met elektromotor en 40 kWh-accu. Je kunt tot zo’n 200 kilometer elektrisch rijden. Dat is ruimschoots voldoende voor een volle dag koerieren door de stad. Op het chassis staat een opbouw van het Nederlandse bedrijf Veth, een kubusvormige box met verschillende compartimenten. Eentje met rekken, die bijvoorbeeld zijn te gebruiken voor kratjes vol supermarktboodschappen. Achterin is er een geïsoleerd compartiment met piepschuimen boxen om producten warm of koel te houden en aan de zijkant is een groot compartiment achter een rolluik waarin een pallet past. Kortom: de beladingsmogelijkheden zijn zeer veelzijdig en dat maakt deze auto geschikt voor allerhande lading die in zo’n distributiecentrum aan de rand van de stad kan liggen.
Uitwisselbaar
De Last Mile Box is ook in zijn geheel met een vorkheftruck van het chassis te tillen. Dus als de lading eruit is, zou je de box bij het eerdergenoemde distributiecentrum kunnen omruilen voor een volle. Dat kan ook een box zijn met een andere indeling, bijvoorbeeld alleen een gekoeld compartiment. Veel is mogelijk. Dat uitwisselen van de opbouw maakt de e-NV200 interessant voor bedrijven die box en lading ergens willen achterlaten. Dan is de e-NV200 direct weer inzetbaar voor andere transportklussen.
Rijden in de stad een genot
Rijden met de Nissan e-NV200 is een genot, zeker in druk stadsverkeer. Schakelen is niet nodig en dat is sowieso al prettig, maar hij reageert daarbij bijzonder fruitig bij optrekken vanuit stilstand. Het is inherent aan de elektrische aandrijving. De elektromotor (80 kW/109 pk) staat immers garant voor veel trekkracht (254 Nm), die direct beschikbaar is. De kleine draaicirkel van 11,1 meter maakt keren en manoeuvreren gemakkelijk.
Verschillende rijmodi
Je kunt kiezen uit verschillende rijmodi. In de B-Modus haal je zoveel mogelijk uit de capaciteit van de nieuwe 40 kWh accu en de actieradius van de Nissan e-NV200. Er wordt dan actief gebruik gemaakt van recuperatief remmen, waarmee de accu wordt opgeladen zonder vermogen in te leveren. Afremmen met het rempedaal is zelden nodig. Bij gas los is de vertraging al flink doordat de elektromotor stroom opwekt. In de Eco-modus is er minder vermogen en haal je het maximale uit een volle batterij. In de stad is echter de B-modus het fijnst.
Financieel zeer aantrekkelijk
Fijn zijn ook de lage kosten! Elektriciteit is veel goedkoper dan benzine of diesel. Tel hierbij de stimuleringsmaatregelen van de overheid op, zoals de vrijstelling van wegenbelasting en tal van andere financiële mogelijkheden en je begrijpt dat de e-NV200 zo gek nog niet is. En met de Last Mile Box kun je echt alle kanten met deze stadsbesteller op. Wel even opletten dat je de batterij op tijd oplaadt! Op 1 fase bij 220 Volt duurt dat circa 6 uur tot aan 80% vol. Met snelladen lukt dat in circa 60 minuten.
