Mitsubishi GT-PHEV Concept: met de GT van Ground Tourer
Ken jij de afkorting GT? Je zou denken dat het voor Gran Turismo staat. Mitsubishi geeft een nieuwe betekenis aan de letters GT. Want de GT in de naam GT-PHEV Concept die op de Autosalon van Parijs (1 tot en met 16 oktober) debuteert staat voor Ground Tourer.
Mitsubishi GT-PHEV Concept
Mitsubishi geeft vandaag foto’s en technische informatie vrij van de GT-PHEV Concept. Het model moet volgens Mitsubishi diverse soorten ondergrond kunnen doorkruisen, vandaar de naam Ground Tourer.
120 kilometer elektrisch rijden
De GT-PHEV Concept kan 120 kilometer volledig elektrisch rijden. De totale actieradius komt volgens Mitsubishi uit op meer dan 1.200 kilometer. De voorwielen worden aangestuurd door een enkele elektromotor, de achterwielen door twee elektromotoren. Meer technische details geeft Mitsubishi in een later stadium vrij.

De GT-PHEV Concept deelt het Parijse podium met meerdere modellen, waaronder de Mitsubishi eX Concept, die eerder op de Tokyo Motor Show 2015 te zien was. Ook de Outlander en Outlander PHEV 2017 modeljaar 2017 zijn in Parijs te zien.
